The talent war is ferocious in the IT jungle, such that employers have no choice but to open their wallets to get quality professionals.  According to the 2018 salary guide from Robert Half for technology professionals, here are the top ten jobs with the highest pay in Canada.

Application Architect (from $90,500$ to $167,750)

The application architect is responsible for designing the basics of an application and for providing technical direction of his team of coders.

ERP Technical Developer (from $94,500 to $163,750)

At ease in all computer languages and on all platforms, this professional focuses his talent in integrated management software.

ERP Functional Analyst (from $99,250 to $150,750)

Midway between the role of a programmer and an architect, the functional analyst still does coding, but adopts a more strategic and involved approach.

Metadata Engineer (from $105,250 to $180,250)

Based on a deep understanding of organizational needs, the metadata engineer more or less transforms the company’s objectives into data processing streams.

Technology Director (from $110,000 to $166,000)

His responsibilities vary depending on the internal hierarchy and the organization’s needs. In general, he plays an oversight and supervisory role, as well as certain activities related to business development.

Network Architect (from $129,000 to $154,250)
