Specific accountabilities

The incumbent is responsible for developing application and data integration solutions. He or she must understand client expectations, analyze needs and translate these specifications into concrete results. He or she participates in the implementation strategy, ensures the validity of selected solutions and sees to their execution.

The incumbent must be able to identify opportunities for improving system functionality and provide recommendations regarding client needs and the Company's technological priorities. He or she works with a number of dynamic IT teams and with clients on implementing strategic business solutions and change requests for key solutions.

Main responsibilities include the following:

• Oversee the processing of change requests and the development of new features;
• In conjunction with the architecture team, perform technical analyses and determine the required efforts based on business needs and functional requirements;
• Create and run unit and integration tests;
• Help launch production of modified or newly developed applications;
• Assist users in running acceptance tests, as required;
• Write robust, reliable and efficient code, and generate reports on digital solutions;
• Provide Level 3 support for deployed applications;
• Serve as a solutions development expert, oversee improvements to the development process, support team members and ensure knowledge transfer.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant combination of experience and/or education;

• Eight or more years of experience in developing business solutions and, depending on the field, in:

• Portal, collaboration and custom web design:

• Experience with and strong command of programming languages (C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, SQL);

• Experience with and proficiency in PowerShell, REST, OData, Entity Framework, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Ajax and jQuery;
• Experience with SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online;
• Experience with development on the Azure platform, an asset;
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics xRM and Power Apps, an asset;
• Experience developing BPM workflows (PNMsoft Sequence, K2), an asset.

• Business intelligence and data integration:

• Experience with and proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and Microsoft SQL.

• Strong analytical and processing skills;
• Resourceful self-starter able to learn independently;
• Familiarity with the quality assurance process;
• In-depth knowledge of the development life cycle;
• Ability to prioritize and carry out tasks in a fast-paced environment;
• Fluency in written and spoken French and English;
• Familiarity with real estate management, an asset.
