As a Citrix Administrator, you contribute to IT efficiency. You design, configure, administer, maintain and upgrade the environments supported as part of projects, initiatives and activities that have medium to significant impacts, potentially on the entire organization.

You provide clients and practitioners with highly responsible and accountable leadership on projects and activities and strategic initiatives that are complex and innovative, such as action plans, project files, roadmaps and various infrastructure endeavours. Your responsibilities require extensive knowledge of your line of work.

You make recommendations on the development and delivery of files and projects with a high degree of operational and conceptual complexity. These require analysis and a comprehensive, detailed understanding of the business and the organization. Coordination is critical. You interact with a large number of stakeholders from a variety of fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.

You are an integrator, advisory specialist and content expert in your area and a resource for the projects you are assigned to and various infrastructure and service initiatives.

  • Help implement the infrastructure and service upgrade roadmap

  • Take a broader view of our services and products.

  • Help design and carry out projects that have medium to significant impacts on the organization

  • Help develop strategic directions and infrastructure positioning

  • Oversee and improve our infrastructure efficiency to reduce operating costs

  • Effectively assess the effort involved in business and infrastructure projects

  • Coach project and operations teams

  • Proficient knowledge of the various business lines

  • Serve as a change ambassador

  • Be structured and ensure endâ€'toâ€'end management of our various initiatives and activities

  • Remain constantly up to date on technologies affecting our infrastructure and services

  • Lead by example in terms of innovation and simplification

  • Make decisions based on our architecture targets

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience

Specific knowledge

  • Knowledge of Citrix infrastructure (Delivery Controller, PVS, Director, Storefront)

  • Knowledge of user/workstation management (GPO, Citrix Policies)

  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows 2008 @ Windows 2019, Windows 7 and Windows 10)
