Cyber Investigations Analyst
Two (2) permanent, full-time positions – Ottawa, ON
Do you have extensive knowledge of computers and information systems, enabling you to act as a primary Cyber Investigator and forensic technician? Are you certified as a cybersecurity professional? If so, consider this exciting career opportunity with Canada Post.
Working in a team deployed across the regions and reporting to a national manager, you'll work independently as a primary client resource for their digital/cyber needs related to desktop, network and mobile investigations, including networks, telephony, mobility and communications devices, computers and peripherals, desktop and mail operations business applications.
More specifically, as an Analyst, Cyber Investigations, you'll liaise with Specialists on clients' behalf to manage incidents, and develop and/or deploy solutions and support to ensure operational business continuity, as well as provide IT advice and support in the acquisition of new tools and systems to support Security and Investigative Services or the Corporation. Leveraging your technical and communication skills, you'll manage relationships with the Canada Post Group of Companies, external contractors and other Specialists, and ensure the timely, cost-effective provision of resolutions and services.
To succeed in this role, you must be committed to maintaining awareness of "State of the Art" technologies applied in an IT investigative environment, and an understanding of future system requirements, in order to foresee the changes required to meet the needs of evolving business and technologies. In addition to managing your own training, you'll keep abreast of new and emerging training and technical developments via technical and training publications, training material, equipment documentation, industry literature, and more.
One position is English Essential, the other is Bilingual Imperative (BBBB).
