Reporting to the Director, IT, the newly created role of Senior IT Project Manager will lead the ongoing development and implementation of DP World Canada's technology infrastructure as well as enterprise software. The Senior IT Project Manager will help build on the organization's reputation as a safety-focused, progressive industry leader while promoting a team culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration and customer service. Being collaborative and nimble, as part of a dedicated group of IT professionals, the Senior IT Project Manager will help to define the future state for both Infrastructure and applications and ensure best practices are in place across this highly dynamic and rapidly expanding organization.

The Senior IT Project Manager will be strategic in approach and able to translate that vision into tangible paths forward.  The chosen candidate must possess strong emotional intelligence, take a nurturing and supportive approach, to build trust across business units. With an ability to work collaboratively to reach new goals that serve the needs of both internal and external customers, the Senior IT Project Manager will also have a reputation as a skillful communicator, an outstanding coach and mentor, and an agile change manager. Additionally, the incumbent will have a solid track record of identifying and assessing risk, deconstructing complex issues to enable buy-in from all facets of an organization, as well as a proven ability to develop, plan and deliver mission critical initiatives on time and on budget.
