Location: Toronto Contract: 12 months (possibility of extension) Hybrid: 2-3 days a week onsite Pay Rate: $30-35 JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is looking for a Data Analyst to join a Financial Planning Performance Management team supporting approximately 800 Financial Planners across Canada. This team is responsible for maintaining scorecard and performance reporting used to measure results and support compensation and commission calculations. The role will support both the back-end data development and front-end reporting sides of the environment. On the back end, the consultant will use SAS and SQL to extract data from source systems, apply business logic, troubleshoot data issues, and prepare accurate datasets for reporting. On the front end, the team is migrating its reporting to Power BI. This consultant will support the migration and development of Power BI reporting and, once launched, help with ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and data analysis. This is a hands-on, data-heavy role ideal for someone who is strong in SQL and SAS and also has Power BI experience to help modernize the team's reporting environment. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Strong SQL skills Strong SAS experience Power BI experience, including reporting/dashboard development Experience with data extraction, transformation, and applying business logic for reporting Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills Experience maintaining and enhancing operational or performance reporting Advanced Excel skills NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience with scorecard or performance reporting Experience supporting compensation or commission-related reporting Experience migrating legacy reporting into Power BI Experience supporting large, complex operational reporting environments Experience with SSRS Python or R experience Vacancy: This posting is for a currently vacant role, and the successful candidate will be hired into an existing open position. *We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
