Location--Toronto, ON 12 month contract Pay rate--$45-$50/hr Job Description Insight Global is looking for Data Engineers to join a leading bank based in Toronto on a contract basis. The success candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and integration solutions that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and business operations. This role works closely with data architects, BI engineers, and business stakeholders to transform data from multiple source systems into trusted, high-quality datasets. Required Skills & Experience -5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer -Proficient in T-SQL, Pyspark, Mapping Dataflow and Python programming language -Data governance framework knowledge -Hands-on experience with Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Function App, Azure Logic App, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, mapping dataflow, and Event Hub -Experience with Denodo for data virtualization Nice to Have Skills & Experience -Microsoft Fabric -GCP We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position. Requirements

Requires at least five years of data engineering experience, proficiency in T-SQL, PySpark, Mapping Dataflow, and Python, and knowledge of data governance frameworks. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Azure data services and Denodo; Microsoft Fabric and GCP are nice to have.
