Cybersecurity Analyst Remote - (MST) Calgary 6 Month Contract + Extensions We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst / Consultant for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise and business acumen, with experience developing cybersecurity policies and standards, conducting audits and remediation activities, implementing security controls, and collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen the organization's security posture. A key requirement for this role is hands-on experience supporting or leading a passkey rollout and modern authentication initiatives. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Intermediate to senior-level experience in cybersecurity Proven experience leading or supporting a passkey rollout and modern authentication initiatives Strong knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF) Knowledge of ISO 27701 and ISO 27002 standards Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), authentication technologies, and data protection principles Experience with data protection, privacy, data classification, and data loss prevention (DLP) initiatives Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity projects and initiatives across multiple security domains Technical diploma or degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills Pay: 50-80/hr Vacancy: New Vacancy (New Role) We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
