Conavi Medical's Novasight Hybrid System enables simultaneous imaging of a patient's coronary arteries using both intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technologies.


If you would like to be a part of a growing and talented team that is making a difference in healthcare, we are currently looking for a Clinical Applications Specialist in the northeastern US to be the primary contact at hospitals working closely with inter-disciplinary healthcare teams to support the promotion and utilization of Conavi's medical devices.


In this position, you will

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Conavi's intravascular imaging catheter and system to deliver product training to hospital staff such as technicians, nurses, and physicians
  • Support the utilization of the device in the catheterization lab by guiding physicians and others on how to prepare the system and use advanced imaging functionality in the cath. lab environment
  • Facilitate the receipt and successful installation of the devices on-site in collaboration with staff at the hospital
  • Identify and advocate for opportunities that will drive new or increased utilization of Conavi's technology at customer sites
  • Provide preliminary troubleshooting on-site and provide detailed reporting of observations to the Conavi team for resolution or management
  • Document and communicate customer feedback within Conavi or the purposes of product development, compliance when required, and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct on-site demonstrations of Conavi's products to current and prospective customers


Your qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree ideally in science, engineering, nursing, medical technology, or a related field
  • Successful experience in introducing new and/or innovative medical technologies to hospital based customers, preferably within a cardiovascular/catherization lab
  • Preference for experience in interpreting intravascular imaging (intravascular ultrasound and/or optical coherence tomography)
  • An unwavering willingness to delight the customer and ensure their satisfaction with Conavi's devices
  • Clear, concise and persuasive written and verbal communication skill with a strong ability to influence without authority
  • Efficient and thorough problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail ensuring that all necessary data or observations are captured and shared with others
  • Able to successfully meet hospital credentialing requirements and follow hospital policies including criminal background checks, vaccination requirements, and wearing of the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to engage in frequent travel to sites in the US with occasional visits to Canada including holding a valid passport and any necessary government authorizations
