IT Director

Tasks/Responsibilities

The IT Director will be responsible for providing a strategic vision and propelling the IT projects of an NPO spread across 2 sites in Quebec, while managing an IT team made up of approximately 6 people.

MORE PRECISELY

• Carry out the technological plan for the 8 main application products
• Mobilize developers and contribute to their professional development
• Ensure the performance and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure
• Manage the IT budget of nearly $1M, the IT inventory and the relationship with suppliers
• Carry out technological monitoring in this business area and stay on the lookout for new trends
• Work in an environment mainly on Windows and Microsoft 365

PROFILE

• 10+ years of experience in IT
• Professional experience in team management (infrastructure and development)
• Good business understanding of application development, experience in a software company
• Experience in IT infrastructure management (Network and Security) in small environments
• Mastery of the Windows and Microsoft 365 environment
• Knowledge of marketing/sales of application products (strong asset)
• Strategic vision and entrepreneurial side
• BAC in computer science or equivalent
• Bilingualism required (French and English)
