System/network Administrator

Tasks/Responsibilities

The System/Network Administrator will be responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure of a company with more than 600 employees in Quebec spread over 2 sites.

MORE PRECISELY

• Advance IT projects (new server room, MFA, new firewall rules, replacement of 80 computers, and others)
• Administer servers and network to maximize availability and performance
• Work in an environment primarily on Windows, Microsoft 365, Nutanix, Palo Alto, Cisco
• Support, where necessary, the performance and updating of certain applications developed internally in C#
• Supervise an IT Technician (Levels 1-2) and report to the Finance Director

PROFILE

• 7+ years of experience as a System/Network Administrator
• Professional expertise with Windows and Microsoft 365
• Mastery of Cisco and Palo Alto
• Knowledge of Nutanix (assets)
• Technical versatility and desire to touch everything
• Experience or interest in doing some C# development
• Interest in working 80% face-to-face in the office
• Valid driving license (class 5)
• Patience and comfort with factory employees
• DEC in computer science or equivalent
• Bilingualism required (French and English)
