Linux Administrator

Tasks/Responsibilities

The Linux Administrator will be responsible for managing the operational aspect of hosting production releases for different clients.

MORE PRECISELY

• Administer around 500 virtual servers and the Cloud environment (AWS and Azure)
• Participate in the design of architectures and implementation of automation processes
• Monitor server applications and ensure infrastructure performance
• Promote the optimization of customer accommodation systems
• Work in an environment mainly on Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu, VMware, Cisco, Dell EMC, Veeam

PROFILE

• 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator
• Specialized professional experience with Linux servers
• Good knowledge of Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu
• Experience in cloud computing, with AWS and Azure
• Mastery of a LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP)
• Experience with VMware and Veeam Backup
• Knowledge of automation with Ansible (asset)
• Interest or experience in DevOps (asset)
• Good interpersonal skills, excellent client service and interest in outsourcing
• Strong desire to learn and motivation
• AWS certification (strong asset)
• DEC in computer science or equivalent
• Bilingualism required (French and English)
