The opportunity:

Valnet is seeking a highly analytical, knowledgeable and driven IT Buiness Analyst to join a multi-functional development team. The IT Business Analyst will be a key player in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. In this role, will work closely with members of the Product team, to evaluate the request needs from internal stakeholders. You will also work closely with developer tech leads, to scope out and design solutions, which ensure that our systems and applications align with business goals.

What you will be doing

• Collaborate with the Product to understand their objectives and gather detailed functional requirements. Conduct thorough analysis and propose solutions and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Support the Product team in creation of clear documentation of functional requirements, specifications, and business processes. Be an authority on system functionality and help guide stakeholders’ education of new features.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of business requirements. Participate in the design and testing phases to validate that solutions meet functional requirements.
• Manage project distribution and prioritization for a team of technical developers. Validate and approve projects deployment to the production environment.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop test scenarios and ensure that testing adequately covers functional requirements. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in resolving any issues that arise.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress, escalate issues as needed, and ensure that expectations are managed appropriately.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or science related. Relevant work experience will be reviewed as an equivalence to a degree.
• Proven experience as an IT Functional Analyst or in a similar IT role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Obsession over details and clarity of information.
• Experience working with web applications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
