An overview of your future role at BBA

You'll be reporting to the Product Manager, IT Business Solutions, and will help improve and implement corporate applications. You'll play an active role in the day-to-day activities of supporting, analyzing, configuring and maintaining smooth system operation.

You'll work closely with the firm's various stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Project Management, Human Resources), your team members and other areas of IT (development, digital workplace, business intelligence (BI), infrastructure and service centre).

An overview of your mandates and responsibilities

  • Lead comparative analyses of technological tools or software.
  • Advise the business team in defining their needs and guide them in choosing appropriate solutions by identifying alternatives, making recommendations and producing a rollout plan.
  • Provide functional support to business teams in their daily activities and provide ideas for improvement.
  • Work closely with business units to revise, design (BPMN) and implement business processes.
  • Configure applications to meet business needs and processes.
  • Process tickets for projects, change requests and bugs.
  • Ensure that standard practices and procedures are applied when configuring solutions.
  • Establish and perform unit test and acceptance plans, coordinate their execution with super users and get their feedback before and after implementation.
  • Work with other team members and the user community.
  • Analyze, process, convert and clean data.
  • Maintain an optimized portfolio of applications and reports to support the business unit.
  • Provide estimates for required effort as part of IT planning.
  • Prepare training material and help with training activities for super users, where required.

Overview of job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT Management or any other relevant field
  • At least three years of IT experience
  • Ability to create clear and concise documentation and keep it updated
  • Knowledge of Microsoft DevOps and development methods in the Agile application
  • Knowledge of process analysis and modelling methodologies
  • Participation as a functional analyst in major IT development projects
  • Asset: Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
  • Asset: Experience in a services firm
  • Asset: Knowledge of an ERP project or sales management module
