Automotive Service Technician - Centennial Mazda

NOW HIRING: Automotive Service Technician

LOCATION: Centennial Mazda, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Rotation of every 2nd Saturday during tire season)

WAGES: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour, flat rate, with a minimum 40 hour/week guarantee + benefits (negotiable based on experience).

Your role involves diagnosing, repairing, and upkeeping various vehicles to ensure they run safely and efficiently. You'll perform meticulous inspections, offer precise solutions, and execute mechanical tasks with precision, all in adherence to industry standards. Your commitment to excellence and ability to collaborate effectively will significantly contribute to our ongoing success in delivering top-tier automotive services.

APPLICABLE SKILLS:

• Valid driver's license
• Licensed Red Seal Endorsement Certificate an asset, or
• Currently working towards Automotive Technician Red Seal Certificate
• PEI Motor Vehicle Inspection License would be considered an asset
• Knowledgeable in vehicle electrical systems and fault diagnostics

• Excellent standards of quality control and keeping accurate records

JOB TASKS:

• Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections and diagnostics
• Provide customers with a great overall experience
• Complete ongoing training
• Maintain cleanliness - Ensure the work environment is clean and safe to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
