What You Would Be Doing:

    • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, leveraging market research, industry insights, and networking to build a robust pipeline of potential clients and strategic partners.
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans and initiatives to drive revenue growth, meet sales targets, and expand market share in target industries and geographic regions.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers, understanding their business needs, challenges, and priorities, and positioning AltaML's AI solutions as a strategic partner of choice.
    • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for clients throughout the sales cycle.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, machine learning developers, and project managers, to develop customized AI solutions that meet client needs and drive value.
    • Represent AltaML at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, showcasing our expertise, thought leadership, and innovative AI solutions to prospective clients and partners.
    • Stay abreast of market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities in the AI landscape, and provide strategic insights and recommendations to inform business development strategies and initiatives.

What We Generally Look For:

    • A passion for driving business growth and creating value through strategic sales and business development initiatives.
    • Proven experience in sales or business development roles, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the technology or AI industry.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to articulate value propositions, address objections, and close deals effectively.
    • Solid understanding of the AI market landscape, industry trends, and competitive dynamics, and the ability to leverage insights to drive strategic decision-making.
    • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving outcomes, meeting deadlines, and delivering measurable business results.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent business credentials are a plus.
