The Opportunity:

Under Sunwing Vacations, we are looking for a Crew Resource Systems Specialist to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Crew Resource Systems Specialist you will support Crew Resource functions in AIMS and all their components. The incumbent will assist in the development and support of new software designed to support and/or troubleshoot issues to ensure business needs of the Flight Operations Team are met. This position will work perform audits related to the credit in AIMS and liaise with crew members to resolve queries/concerns. The position reports to the Manager, Crew Resources and will be located in Toronto, ON.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the subject matter expert in all matters that pertain to the credit system for Flight Deck and Cabin Crew
  • Train the Crew Resource System Coordinator in the Credit System for the Cabin Crew
  • Audit pay functions in AIMS and make corrections when required.
  • Provide excellent customer service including responding to airline operations requests with a solution generating approach
  • Investigate/Troubleshoot system issues and report as required
  • Conducting analysis of company and user need and present recommendations
  • Assist with the development and enhancements of the AIMS, Rainmaker, ProVerne and other new systems
  • Track issues and resolution process and report on a weekly basis
  • Document functional requirements
  • Participate in system integration projects in relation to Crew Resources, including providing recommends for development, testing new software, and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Provide training to end users on an as needed basis.
  • Ensure the effective operation of the AIMS, Rainmaker and ProVerne systems
  • Perform tests and evaluation of the AIMS, Rainmaker and ProVerne systems to ensure integrity of data
  • Coordinate with vendors to report issues, develop solutions and test solutions

What You'll Need:

  • Post-secondary education considered an asset
  • Previous airline operational experience, an asset
  • Able to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining composure
  • Demonstrated commitment to internal customer service
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational, problem solving, planning, and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure, work independently, be flexible, reliable, and prioritize workload
  • Airline industry experience is an asset as well as experience working in a unionized environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong analytic and mathematic proficiency
