The City of Quinte West invites applications for the following full-time position:

Information Technology Analyst - Corporate Services

Purpose & Scope of Position:

Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the IT Analyst will be responsible for administering City technology (both physical and virtual systems), general and high-level support, troubleshooting, and implementation for the City of Quinte West. This position will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion and assist in implementing new programs, applications, and processes.

This position is a contributing team member responsible for the day-to-day work and executing operations in line with department-approved policies, plans and programs as well as efficiently meeting service standards in the delivery of municipal services.

Requirements: 

A minimum of a three (3) year degree or diploma in an applicable computer science or related field, with demonstrated expert knowledge of computer systems and software, security and cloud environments, is required. A minimum of two (2) years of professional information technology experience as well as experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Workspace is required. Previous municipal experience is considered an asset.

Remuneration:  2024 Non-Union Salary Grid Band 8 - $91,400.76 - $99,348.65 annually.
