The eDC Development team develop applications for DSV Order Management system - eDC, (core customer-facing applications). Working alongside our existing eDC Development team this role brings large application to the next level, adding new features and modernizing existing ones. The role requires to work with other teams and stakeholders located around the globe.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own design, develop, and deliver data quality, data profile, and metadata best practices for the enterprise and promote their adoption via data literacy campaigns.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on data quality, metadata management, data sharing and as an enterprise advocate for Enterprise Data Management standards and policies.
• Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
• Identify automation opportunities and work towards improving issue resolution within SLA.
• Data governance tools management and new feature enhancements to support data governance functions.
• Serve as the enterprise liaison between business and technology to manage business definitions, data lineage (business and metadata), data taxonomies, ontology, and data quality rule definitions in a clearly defined and discoverable manner.
• Support and train Enterprise Data Agents to use standard data management tools within the guidelines of governance policies and standards. Support Data Agents in data management efforts that directly contribute towards major enterprise initiatives.
• Create and manage metadata and data quality metrics for each business unit.
• Drive alignment on data definitions, policies, governance, and enforcement of enterprise business rules for master data.
• Collaborate with the scrum team to translate business requirements into the product roadmap, EPICs, and sprint backlog.
• Plan deliverables\roadmaps and communicate regular progress status to leadership.

• Perform assigned tasks to support DSV meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety, and environment and follow all requirements as set out in the DSV Quality Health Safety Environment policy.
• Staff are required to ensure that their day-to-day activities embrace sustainability, Health and safety therefore reducing the impact upon the environment, supporting the communities we work in and reducing incidents in the workplace.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

• Professional master's or bachelor's degree
• Having at least 5+ years of frontend and backend development experience with leading technologies

• Good command, both verbal and written, English skills.
• You have ability to easily communicate on and switch between levels of abstraction depending on the target group.
• You care about the customer experience and have experience building enterprise/customer facing applications.
• You are passionate about development, self-driven, highly motivated.
• You are extremely collaborative and enjoy working with team members across the globe.
• You have ability to effectively influence technical teams.
• You possess ability to demonstrate expertise in delivering to a strategic agenda.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Language and Computer Skills

• English is the principal language for this position, additional languages may be required in other locations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
• Microsoft Office suite Demonstrated experience with C#, MSSQL, Angular 12+, NodeJS, Docker
• Mastery of Typescript and JavaScript
• Experience with third part UI controls preferably KendoUI
• Strong experience with version control systems (Git)
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins


Physical Demands
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer.
• Regular working hours apply for this position, at times, working beyond these hours may be required by business needs.
