Beta Software Program Administrator

The Role:

This Beta Software Program Administrator role focuses on close engagement with AMD Product Management, AMD SW development teams, Radeon Software Beta Testers, and Prosumer/Workstation communities/forums to consistently improve end user experience with Radeon Software. The internal title for the position is "Project/Program Management Specialist 2".

The Person:

A successful candidate will hold extensive knowledge of GPU-accelerated compute APIs (such as OpenCL, ROCm, etc.) and content creation/productivity software. The candidate will possess a deep understanding of PC component intricacies and prosumer use cases. Attention to detail, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are also required.

This is a role for the PC enthusiast with an interest in high performance compute, content creation, and AI/ML.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and contribute to the growth of a beta testing program for GPU-accelerated AI/ML applications.
  • Replicate PC content creation and prosumer workflows with a key objective to mirror natural end-user configurations. Reproduce and analyze end-user reported issues, driving to resolution.
  • Engage global PC communities and social spaces to address user issues and collect feedback.
  • Provide regular reports to graphics software leadership at AMD on the status of the program and hot issues.
  • Work directly with Radeon Software Beta Tester community for feedback
  • Evaluate and edit documentation relating to AMD GPU-accelerated AI/ML software platforms.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with GPU-accelerated AI and Machine Learning frameworks (eg. AMD ROCm).
  • Understanding of common PC graphics software and hardware for prosumer/workstation on both Windows and Linux.
  • Background in prosumer and content creation workflows for PC
  • Familiarity with global PC compute/workstation/developer communities
  • Experience with software development, beta testing, or QA processes and tools is a plus.

Academic Credentials:

  • Post-secondary graduate (University or College) in Computer Systems Technology or related field.
