You as a Software Engineer for our Financial Management System (FMS) will:

• Be accountable for deliverables and customer satisfaction.
• Develop, test, analyze, maintain and enhance our in-house ERP system, FMS (Financial Management System) to meet the functional needs of the business.
• Integrate our in-house Project Management System, Gate Three as well as other external systems with our FMS system.
• Present ideas for development and improvement of software.
• Provide input to determine the scope and duration of software development projects.
• Maintain documentation for users, clients, and team members.

Is this the right role for you?

• 8+ years proven work experience in software development.
• Experience using IBM i, RPGLE, CLLE, SQL, XML, Json, SOAP and REST APIs
• Experience using IBM Rational® Developer for IBM i.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, databases, and object-relational mapping (ORM) framework.
• Experience analyzing problems and finding solutions.
• Experience using Java, Python, JavaScript and CA 2E (formerly Synon 2E) is an asset.
• Knowledge of Information Builders iWay Enterprise Service Bus is an asset.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields, or equivalent work experience
