With a focus on customer service your primary function, is to plan, organize and, deliver computer lessons and training. Topics may include use of online technology, social media platforms, and the use of a variety of technology devices.
Teaching courses such as Introduction to iPads, On-line Shopping, Introduction to the Internet, Internet Safety, How to Use Your Device, Using Aps, etc.
You are required to keep current with industry trends, and complete administrative duties in a timely manner (e.g. attendance, incident/accident reports).
It is important to maintain a safe and tidy program space ensuring equipment is set up and stored appropriately; attend meetings and mandatory trainings as required; and report any concerns or issues to your supervisor.
Education in computer & technology related field
Six months of previous related experience
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
The hourly rate for this position will vary pending qualifications; however, will be within the range of $25.00 to $40.00.
Hours of work are dependent on the number of participants taking part in our programs, as such, there are no minimum hours associated with this position. Work schedule may include weekdays and weekend hours.
