Description

The team's mandate is to own strategy, development and execution of various initiatives across Products, Marketing and Logistics. Through partnerships with multiple cross-functional groups, our team drives key strategic priorities and capital investments to deliver best-in-class mobility programs and logistics capabilities.

What's in it for me?

You will interact with cross-functional partners across the organization to develop and manage device residual value and trade-in programs that deliver attractive features to consumers, while optimizing value to the mobility business and logistics operations. As the owner of the annual strategy and multi-year roadmap, you will build from an ambitious vision, historical learnings, best-in-class industry practices, and cross-functional expertise, to establish compelling stories to gain buy-in and support. You will be responsible for enabling your plan by building business cases, navigating governance processes, and leading cross-functional teams to operationalize ideas into reality. As a self-starter, you will thrive in a fast paced environment to develop relationships across the organization, build strategy, and manage a multi-faceted portfolio.

What you will do:

  • Uncover data driven insights and opportunities to create an annual program plan to grow and optimize the device trade-in portfolio
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver on the strategy, including prioritization, implementation, and reporting
  • E2E ownership of new capital projects including development of business cases, compelling executive storytelling, budget management, and cross-functional downstream project management
  • Scrum Product Ownership of the Device Returns system, working with a dedicated scrum team to prioritize work, define stories, and support implementation
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners involved in the trade-in process, ensuring service level agreements are met and fostering productive partnerships.
  • Create and present regular executive updates to share success stories, learnings, and optimization opportunities

Qualifications

You're the missing piece of the puzzle:

  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, business casing, analytics skills, and project management skills.
  • Keen interest in solving ambiguous and often complex business problems with little precedent.
  • Ability to take vast amounts of information from various sources and consolidate and synthesize into meaningful and actionable insight.
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills required to obtain commitment from cross-functional teams to support and deliver on priorities without authority.
  • Deliver quality service to our customers, team members, partners and outcome sponsors through consistent application of the TELUS values

Great-to-haves:

  • Successfully navigating large, complex companies
  • Solid understanding of mobility industry dynamics
  • Professional Scrum Product Owner
  • Project Management Professional
