About the Organization | The PROSIT Lab is dedicated to leveraging modern technology to improve mental health care in youth. As part of their research, the team has developed an app that passively gathers information on patients' behaviours using their smartphones. Thereby the Lab aims to identify youth at risk early on and provide them with the support they need early on. |
Job Summary | Reporting to and working under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the App Developer will assist in developing, building, and monitoring the mobile applications that the PROSIT Lab uses. They will also ensure that records are kept separate for each individual study using the application(s), and document app problems as they are raised by lab members. The App Developer will work closely with all students, and research assistants in the lab to ensure that questions are answered promptly, and issues are addressed as they are detected. The App Developer will work on projects within the Lab (http://prosit.meierlab.info/) that involve the development, implementation, and evaluation of health services and innovations to improve the mental health and well-being of youth. |
