What will your typical day look like?

The Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for providing strategic direction and operational excellence in cyber security standards, security solutions and will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity solutions, strategies, and policies. This role will ensure that the stakeholder security requirements necessary to protect the organization's mission and business processes are adequately addressed in all aspects of enterprise architecture including operating models, strategic roadmaps and solution architectures. The Cloud Security Architect will identify suitable solutions, define requirements and evaluation criteria, conduct POC/POT and publish the analysis of the findings. The incumbent will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, a strong grasp and continued learning of industry best practices, and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership and own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific innovation challenge projects and define potential implementation architectures
  • Stay informed about emerging cloud security trends, technologies and threats
  • Develop, socialize and implement comprehensive multi-stakeholder cloud security strategies aligned with organizational goals while incorporating People, Process and Technology
  • Influence and guide major stakeholders and partner with them to implement cloud security solutions in public cloud environments
  • Research new technologies, processes, and solutions to enhance capabilities across the enterprise
  • Ensure team is following industry standards, regulations, technical guidelines, security needs, and design patterns aligned to enterprise architecture and strategy

In this role, the candidate will bring a deep understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy principles, extensive experience in building cyber security programs and a proven track record of success in leading cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be an experienced professional of cloud security technologies, a big picture thinker, and a proficient presenter, communicator who is ready to be the focal point driving force of strategic ideas and bring those ideas to execution & realization.

In this role, the candidate will have:

  • Prior experience as a Cloud Security Architect or similar role
  • In-depth understanding and applied experience with cloud and cyber security frameworks, standards, and best practices
  • Hands on experience with implementing cloud native security services and platforms.
  • Robust interpersonal, verbal presentation and written communication skills with the ability to work independently
  • Experience interfacing with stakeholders and end users utilizing consulting and negotiating skills using storytelling and an executive language.
  • Expert knowledge of cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), automation, orchestration, trends alongside industry-leading cloud vendor offerings and integrations
  • Project management and service definition and delivery experience.
  • Service development and delivery experience.
  • Project management experience
  • Possess One of the certifications below (Mandatory):
    • Azure Solutions Architect Expert OR;
    • Google Professional Cloud Architect OR;
    • AWS Solutions Architect Professional
  • Desired Certifications but not mandatory:
    • ISC2 CCSP
    • AWS Security Specialty
    • Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
    • Azure Security Engineer Expert

The salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
