THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Supervisor of Business Services and Administration, this position will play a key role in the Business Services of the OCIO office.

Duties include providing IT consultation to departments with regard to hardware and software purchases, to ensure departments are compliant with current IT infrastructure and that their needs are being met; reviewing IT acquisition requests to ensure items being requested are able to support the needs of the university community; conducting research to ensure that Memorial is availing of the most up to date technologies; ensuring all IT assets are disbursed for configurations prior to departmental distribution; facilitating the receipt of IT assets, coordinating with Strategic Procurement and Financial Services on processes; interacting with vendors regarding invoicing errors and price discrepancies; and performing other related duties as required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Experience (3-5 years) in the area of information technology in developing and delivering technical consulting; completion of an undergraduate degree in business administration, or certificate in business administration; or any equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills; the ability to work as part of a dynamic team, in a fast-paced environment and a strong attention to detail. Experience working with Banner would be an asset.

SALARY $62,206 - $70,273 per annum (Non- Bargaining)

An upscale hiring step will apply to this position (Step 5)
