The IT Solutions Analyst III ensures that IT solutions are consistently implemented and fully supported for our business stakeholders. These solutions are designed to be reliable and meet business requirements. This role is responsible for understanding business requirements, present best solutions and implement them. This role requires excellent communication with stakeholders and our vendors to ensure alignment, resolve issues, optimize existing solutions, implement new solutions, or scope future enhancements. Mentor other Solution Analysts as they develop their skills and experience. Engages all levels of leadership as required.

Your responsibilities:

  • Leverage existing and potential relationships to facilitate solutions.
  • Provide constructive and well thought out feedback within team, both horizontally and vertically within an organization.
  • Delegate work to others as appropriate.
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot complex hardware and/or software issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at any level (including senior leadership) to identify incident requirements, understand issues, review possible solutions and present recommendations.
  • Identify the fit for purpose solution to meet requirements and to drive the optimal outcomes. Build project plans and implement new solutions or enhancements. Manage the lifecycle of technology solutions and may lead teams to implement them.
  • Evaluate the approach to deal with issues, either undertaking to resolve or by escalating issues with other IT team members and vendors.
  • Support less experienced Solutions Analysts by providing guidance and mentoring them.
  • Adhere to all service management best practices on an individual level.
  • Create and provide ongoing maintenance of support documentation as required.
  • Monitor, analyze, and troublshoot most complex software applications for potential issues and keep them running reliably.
  • Support application patches, upgrades, and installation when required.
  • Communicate the value of a process centric approach to solving problems and taking advantage of opportunities.
  • Work closely with a full range of business stakeholders to understand challenges faced that could have a portion of the solution based on technology. Research and present solutions explaining why recommendations will improve the outcome and are worth the effort to follow.
  • Engage business leadership with an interest to improving efficiencies and potentially the bottom line of their business.

  • An interest in learning about new areas of the business.
  • An understanding of why processes that are fit-for-purpose are improve the outcome and are worth the effort to follow.

Your experience

  • Undergraduate Degree or College diploma in related field
  • Minimum of 5 Years in an application support role
  • Prior experience understanding and managing the lifecycle of technology solutions.
