Service Technician

Due to the significant growth of the business and our recent expansion into Easter Canada, we are looking to add a Service Technician to our team. Reporting to the Greatario Services Manager, this position will be responsible for following up with existing customers throughout the Eastern Canada provinces to offer innovative maintenance programs.

What you can expect:

• Setting up appointments with clients to examine and review possible maintenance issues
• Planning, scheduling and conducting service work
• Completing on-site inspections of tanks
• Utilization of robotic inspection equipment
• Writing up reports based on hands-on inspection of storage tanks
• Presenting maintenance solutions to customers based on inspection findings

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years construction or preventative maintenance related experience
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Comfortable working from heights, on aerial work platforms & in situations of confined space.
• Electrical or cathodic protection experience considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to interact with Engineers, Municipal Officials and direct Industrial Customers.
• Proficient computer skills, working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Adobe software is required.
• Strong technical abilities
• Familiarity with use of gaming control systems and/or drones considered an asset
• Flexible to travel for extended periods of time
• Ability to work independently while remaining an integral part of the construction management team.
• A demonstrated ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, and effectively prioritizing multiple responsibilities.
• Detail oriented, effective problem solving with a passion for continuous improvement.
