About the Role

ID Fusion is looking for someone who is excited by the prospect of working with a variety of small to medium-sized clients across multiple industries. You will have the opportunity to combine your knowledge of business and technology to help our clients transform and grow their businesses and organizations. As a key contributor, you will work closely with our team of project managers, architects, developers and technicians driving value for our clients.


Consulting is about understanding a business's technology needs. It is about understanding the context around those needs, facilitating the change and devising the solution to ensure improvements. As a Consultant, your top priority is to build strong and trusted relationships with our customers. As a key client-facing team member and trusted advisor, you identify business and technology problems and work with our solution design team to solve those problems. You will offer in-depth analysis, strategic direction, and actionable plans that enable clients to realize their vision while considering both their immediate requirements and long-term objectives. You will work closely with several cross-functional product and business development teams to help deliver exceptional solutions.

Your Day to Day

  • Liaise with clients, business representatives and other professionals to analyze the business needs of clients and stakeholders to identify business problems and identify the system's requirements
  • Gather requirements with stakeholders and users to identify goals, user needs, drivers for change, current processes, pain points, risks, external factors, what the solution needs to do and what may be viable solution options
  • Identify what is behind and underneath the requirement and identify the root cause of issues
  • Evaluate opportunities for process re-design based on best practices and work with architects to propose solutions
  • Be involved in business case development, coordination, and facilitation of user sessions and group meetings
  • Produce understandable documentation such as requirements, solution overviews, wireframes, solution designs, process maps, flow charts and other project documentation
  • Liaise with technical staff on the development and actualization of the requirements
  • Using best practices, facilitate research, planning, costing and implementation of business solutions to provide technical expertise and leadership in the assessment and development of software applications
  • Perform research and evaluate possible technologies or vendor solutions that are available to address the solution requirements
  • Liaison with end-users, vendors and programmers
  • Learn how to use and configure vendor software solutions
  • Identify at a high level how systems will talk to each
  • Provide client consulting and technical support services on project implementation
  • Support in the estimation of project effort, costs and timelines
  • Participate as a team member in cross-functional and cross-organizational teams
  • Liaise with the project team to execute a stakeholder communication plan
  • Provide support to prepare various reports: project status reports, risk reports, vendor research reports and other project-related reports
  • Provide sales support and initial client solution design and scoping efforts for new sales opportunities
  • Provide support to create and document client statements of work and proposals
  • Proactively identify project risks that may impact the team's ability to deliver on time and budget
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for improving processes, communications and operating efficiencies for clients and internal company operations
  • Collaborate in writing internal company documentation, processes and manuals to support company operations


Experience You Bring

  • 2 to 3 years of consulting experience
  • MBA, relevant Degree or Diploma
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in custom software / technology projects
  • Superior relationship management skills
  • Tech-savvy and can pickup new tools quickly
  • Relevant University degree or college diploma
