Full Stack AI/ml Developer (Financial/banking Domain)

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML model development, front-end and back-end technologies, and a deep understanding of the financial industry.

What you will be doing:

• Develop and maintain user-facing features and backend services for our AI chatbot and other AI-driven financial applications.
• Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces using React, React Native, and Flutter.
• Design and develop server-side components and Restful APIs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Integrate AI/ML models into financial systems, optimizing for performance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, backend, and domain experts to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Preprocess and analyze financial data to extract insights and features for AI/ML model development.
• Stay up - to - date with the latest technologies in AI/ML, front-end and back-end development, and financial industry trends.
• Write clean, modular, well-documented code, and maintain a robust codebase across all parts of the stack.

Must-Have:

• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript (ES6+), including experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlor, Hugging Face, or PyTorch.
• Extensive experience with front-end technologies, particularly React and its ecosystem (Redux, React Router).
• Experience with backend programming languages and frameworks, with a strong understanding of Python.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL), API design (REST, GraphQL), and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in mobile app development using React Native or Flutter.
• Experience with version control systems (eg., Git) and collaborative development practices.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

• Proven experience in developing and integrating full-stack solutions for financial or banking applications.
• Familiarity with financial industry regulations and compliance requirements related to AI/ML.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop) and data visualization tools (eg., Matplotib, Seaborn).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (eg., Docker).

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Location

• This position will be 100% Remote.

Compensation:

The typical salary range for this position is: CAD $90K - $120K annually. Salary offered will be based on skills, experience, and market data.
