Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Architecture & Security, the person in this HANDS-ON role is deeply knowledgeable regarding portal fronted solutions as well as standard workflow development processes. Solid knowledge of enterprise architecture and governance is required. Given the breadth of this role the person must learn and adapt quickly. This person has a history of success and impact. Maintaining a balanced, measured approach to projects will be key to success. Individual will be expected to work with equal ease on their own or as part of a team. Individual must be innovative and business focused to overcome anticipated and unexpected obstacles.
The ERP Data Architect (Dynamics 365) will design and implement Power Platform / Dynamics 365 ERP solutions to meet business requirements and integrate into the application ecosystem. The candidate will participate in project perimeter definition, demonstration and proof-of-concept design activities, workshops to define requirements and review business processes; lead implementations of Microsoft Power Platform / Dynamics 365 ERP customizations; apply the standards and write the technical specifications.

What will you do?
- Provide technical expertise in ERP (Dynamics 365) Architecture, technology strategy and technical design decisions.
- Assess customer requirements, scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, infrastructure build, configuration, unit testing, as well as driving the production deployment.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional/non-functional requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners.
- Communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders with the proper set of views and documents.
- Develop a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns, based on the Cloud Solutions Infrastructure portfolio, as a basis for deploying services to the cloud.
- Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services.
- Contribute to Cloud DevOps activities and complex development tasks.
- Define optimal design patterns and solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for applications.
- Interact with project leads and technical stakeholders in building and deploying cloud solutions.
- Identify, assess and propose the right trade-offs to meet non-functional requirements.
- Work closely with the IT security team to provide the appropriate monitoring mechanisms for the deployed architectures.
- Provide support and technical governance, expertise related to cloud architectures, deployment, and operations.
- Provide thought leadership in industry and to fellow team members across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements.
- Advocate and define cloud architecture vision from a strategic perspective, including internal and external platforms, tools, and systems.

- Programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, C# / X++, Python development languages.

- Active Directory, including Azure Active Directory, IIS, DNS.
- Enterprise Application Integration and Architecture patterns.
- Azure technologies such as WebApps, Functions, LogicApps, Data Gateways, and Service Bus, Modern authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth and OpenID, Active Directory, including Azure Active Directory, IIS, DNS.
- Both overlaying and extension methodologies for customizing D365.
- Building and deploying D365 deployable packages for both core D365 SDK
- Building and consuming of Data Entities (OData).
- Data Import / Export Framework (DIXF).
- D365 Integration Development using supporting Microsoft technologies such as Common Data Service, Flow, Logic Apps and Azure Service Bus.
- Using Azure DevOps (VSTS) for source control.
- Using and configuring Azure DevOps build and release pipelines.
- Microsoft Power Apps development in-line with D365 data structures.
- HTML5 Development in line with D365.
