Overview of role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated intermediate AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) QA Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an Intermediate AEM QA Analyst on this team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test strategies, conducting thorough testing of AEM components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

The intermediate AEM QA Analyst is responsible for verifying and participating in test case development, execution of tests, defect management, coordination of test activities on projects and development of automation strategies. This role will collaborate closely with the test team and with stakeholders including product managers, business analysts and developers to understand requirements and define test objectives and strategies.

Key deliverables include:

  • Develop a comprehensive test plan based on project requirements and specifications
  • Define test strategies for AEM components, including templates, content fragments, workflows and customizations
  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate AEM platform functionality and ensure adherence to business and technical requirements
  • Identify, log, and track defects and issues. Conduct root cause analysis for defects and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Continuously assess and improve the testing process, methodologies, and techniques to optimize test coverage and effectiveness
  • Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to provide input on test effort estimation
  • Collaborate with the developers, product owners and other stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of the AEM platform architecture for effective testing
  • Analyze test results and provide comprehensive test reports to stakeholders, highlighting any risks, issues, or areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned from testing activities
  • Proactively identify areas within the testing process that can be automated, repetitive test cases, and regression testing
  • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends, tools, and techniques in software testing, particularly in test automation, and propose their adoption when appropriate

Experience and qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience as an AEM QA Analyst or in a similar testing role
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Manager and related technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies and working within Agile teams
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps tools
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, testing principles, and agile practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and provide practical solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
