The interview process for this position will be entirely remote, and we are open to remote work options.


Position


We are looking for an experienced frontend engineer who loves technology, can take ownership of the projects, is able to design and implement solutions to complex problems, feels proud of their craft and is excited to be part of a team re-shaping the definition of corporate banking applications. You would be joining a team of business integration engineers who build FISPAN's accounting software integrations and plugins.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design and implement enhancements to our Plugins and User interfaces in Javascript, keeping in mind usability, performance and KPIs.
  • Expertise in creating frontend UIs with React or Svelte
  • Extensive experience with modern CSS / SCSS features and fundamentals (grid layouts, color spaces, container queries, etc.)
  • Experience with modern bundlers (webpack, vite)
  • Experience writing and maintaining unit-tests for UI projects (jest, vitest)
  • Experience writing and maintaining Playwright test suites for UI testing
  • Passion for technology and readiness to adapt to the changing technology landscape.
  • Experience working with accessibility standards (WCAG2.1/ADA) is an asset
  • Familiarity with Backend technologies such as Java, Kotlin is an asset.
  • Involved in personnel decisions, mostly regarding hiring and performance management.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to team members.
  • Provides status updates to stakeholders

Compensation and Benefits Package

We want our employees to see how the ideas they help generate today have an impact on how we do business tomorrow.With that, the hiring salary range for this position is $119,000 - $145,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on comparable market data from companies of similar employee size, revenue and location.As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive semi-annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
