JOB SUMMARY

As a Front End Developer, this individual will play a crucial role in developing web & mobile application(s) for our neurological algorithm calculator(s). They will possess strong technical expertise in web & mobile development, specifically with React Native and/or Ionic, as well as a comprehensive understanding of business analysis, UX design, Agile methodologies using MS DevOps, customer communication, and project management. The Front End Developer will contribute to the healthcare industry and make a positive impact on the lives of many. The application(s) will be used throughout Canada and globally on release to support the research and medical community using cross-platform or hybrid mobile application frameworks. In this role, they will be working directly with users and stakeholders to find solutions to meet our user's needs:


JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Comprehensive understanding of the neurological algorithm calculator business logic.
  • Estimating effort in Agile DevOps.
  • Creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Implementing responsive designs and optimizing the application's performance for mobile devices.
  • Performing automated and manual testing.
  • Developing the integration of services and GraphQL/REST APIs.
  • Expertise in Docker Debug and troubleshoot application problems.
  • Communicating with customers to gather feedback, resolve issues, and incorporate necessary enhancements or modifications to the mobile application.
  • Ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of the application through rigorous testing and debugging.
  • Performing other duties related to the qualifications and requirements of the job.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or diploma in combination with training and experience.
  • Proven experience as a Mobile Application Developer, with a focus on developing mobile applications using Cordova.
  • Solid understanding of business analysis principles and practices, including requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Proficiency in UX design principles, with strong emphasis on creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Experience using mobile development frameworks (example: Ionic/Apache/Cordova/React Native)
  • Understanding and some experience with design sprints and in working with UX Designers
  • TypeScript, JavaScript, ES6+
