Software Developer

The IPS Engine team is currently seeking a Software Developer to join our efforts in developing an innovative container-based security product.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create robust security software modules, contributing to the foundation of our product's security capabilities.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain and enhance our existing codebase, ensuring it meets evolving performance and security requirements.
• Apply container-based security techniques to embed systems and cloud environments, ensuring the utmost protection.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to our clients.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in C and Golang, with the ability to develop efficient and secure code.
• Experience with Linux system development.
• A strong grasp of TCP/IP, and socket programming.
• Familiarity with container and cloud-native technologies.
• Motivation to learn and adapt to new technologies and a passion for exploring innovative ideas.

Assets:

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• Prior experience or background in the cybersecurity field.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent with relevant work experience.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $80,000 - $110,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
