Software Developer - Fortisandbox Engine
Fortinet is looking for a Software Developer to work on existing security Product, FortiSandbox.
Job Responsibilities:
- Research on malware and detection evasion techniques to enhance our engine
- Ownership of significant areas of the code for both new feature/functionality development as well as to maintain/redesign of the existing areas of the products
- Develop and deploy internal tools to help speed up the development process.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in C/C++ programming
- Familiar with some development tools such as Visual Studio and Jenkins
- Good team player and good communication skills
- Highly motivated and responsible quick learner
- Knowledge of Windows/macOS/linux/android development (user or kernel) is an asset
- Experience in malware analysis is an asset
Educational Requirements:
- M.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or similar field
The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $80,000 - $110,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
