Full-stack Software Developer

Fortinet is looking for a talented full-stack software developer to join our R&D team in Burnaby. This person will primarily work on building our website system. The ideal candidate will have website and front-end programming skills, a strong networking background, and be eager to learn new things.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain web-based user interfaces for Fortinet portals and management products
• Monitors and analyzes the performance and security of our web system, server and network
• Collaborate with development teams to create easy to use and powerful web applications
• Promote best practices within the team and organization

Required skills:

• At least 3+ years of work experience in Full Stack Software development
• Experience with Python or Golang development methodology
• Experience with Angular or React Web development frameworks
• Experience with Linux platforms
• Experience with network protocols
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Desired skills:

• Experience with one or more databases
• Experience with Golang
• Experience with Django
• Experience with Docker or K8s
• Educational qualifications:

BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $67,000 - $91,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
