The Opportunity
The School for Advanced Digital Technology is currently looking for individuals who are interested in teaching the next generation of professionals in their field. We are currently seeking applicants who are interested in future Instructor opportunities. We offer various courses during the day (Monday-Friday, between 8 AM-6 PM) along with evening and weekend courses. Future opportunities are casual hourly roles where the hours per week may vary.

The Role
Prepare for classes prior to delivery
Maintain and update curriculum as required
Develop quality presentations for students
Attend all SAIT training as required
Achievement of School initiatives and Objectives
Provide accurate and up to date reporting of student marks
Be an active and engaged member of the School
Adhere to all safety legislation, guidelines and safety standards as required
Maintain contact with industry sectors to assure technology is relevant
All other duties as required for the position

Qualifications & Experience
A degree in related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in related fields.
Previous teaching, training, coaching or mentoring experience is strongly preferred (e.g., mentoring new team members, corporate training, bootcamp instruction, etc.). Please include a brief statement of your training / coaching philosophy and a summary of learner feedback you've received (if available)
Previous teaching experience would be an asset
Fluent in English reading and vocabulary
Comfortable speaking to the public
Positive & respectful attitude
Basic level of Proficiency working in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
Ability to read, interpret and deliver specific curriculum
