Job details

Key Responsibilities Monitor security alerts, logs, and incidents to identify potential threats. Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities. Perform vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing. Configure and maintain firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Investigate security incidents and support incident response activities. Monitor networks, servers, endpoints, and cloud environments for suspicious activity. Implement security policies, procedures, and access controls. Support identity and access management (IAM), including multi-factor authentication. Conduct security audits and risk assessments. Assist with compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls. Prepare security reports and documentation. Collaborate with IT, network, cloud, and application teams to improve security. Required Technical Skills Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats, and attack techniques. Understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, and firewalls. Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or IBM QRadar. Understanding of vulnerability management and security patching. Knowledge of endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools. Basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Understanding of encryption, authentication, authorization, and access management. Familiarity with incident response and security monitoring. Preferred Skills Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys. Knowledge of penetration testing tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, and Wireshark. Familiarity with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and web application security. Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001. Familiarity with threat intelligence and digital forensics.
