Job summary
IT Support Specialist – 2-Month Contract On behalf of our client, we are looking for an IT Support Specialist for a 2-month contract. The role can be performed remotely, but candidates who can work hybrid in Winnipeg are preferred. Responsibilities Set up and configure laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, phones, and other IT equipment. Install and support Windows, Microsoft 365, Adobe, and other business applications. Support employee onboarding, including hardware setup, user accounts, and system access. Package and coordinate hardware shipments for employees. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Manage user accounts and permissions in Microsoft environments. Support tools such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, Jira, and Confluence. Respond to service requests and support tickets. Create and update basic IT documentation and knowledge base articles. Requirements 2+ years of IT support or help desk experience. Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments. Familiarity with Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, peripherals, and common software issues. Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems. Strong communication and customer service skills. Good troubleshooting, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
