WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Key Accounts Manager is responsible for increasing sales in the designated territory and establishing strong relationships with agency contacts. The incumbent must keep abreast of market intelligence and perform competition analysis. The incumbent will be expected to keep updated on the full range of product from all gateways servicing clients and to participate in promotional activities including consumer and industry events:

  • Build strong, long term relationships with agency owners, managers, and top producing advisors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, providing ongoing support and strategic guidance.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and set growth objectives.
  • Drive incremental revenue through targeted sales strategies, promotions, and account specific business plans.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospect potential new key partners.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to align initiatives with account needs.
  • The ideal candidate should possess the ability to grasp the full scope of our products,(which includes but not limited to SUN, Europe, Cruise, ePackages, Car, Tours, Groups) ensuring they are well-versed in all aspects that give us a competitive edge. They will be responsible for positioning our products in the market in a way that highlights our advantages, driving growth and expanding our market share.
  • Track sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity within assigned territory.
  • Deliver in person and vitual training sessions, webinars, and presentations to educate partners on products, destinations, and promotions.
  • Manage Social Media outlets ( posts and responses), Flyers and Powerpoints creations
  • Support product launches, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives through targeted account engagement.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, familiarization trips (FAMs), and industry events as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity, sales calls, and follow ups using CRM systems.
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and business summaries for internal stakeholders.
  • Manage escalations professionally, ensuring timely resolution of account issues.
  • Develop, in conjunction with the G.M. Sales, the commercial business plan for his/her territory.
  • Provide market intelligence on a regular basis to ensure market competitiveness and collaborate with their GM.
  • Manage budgets and submit monthly expense reports.
  • Any other related tasks.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Tourism or equivalent;
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Experience in sales & account management, travel industry is preferred;
  • Solid experience of territory and market. Highly organized, self motivated, and results driven;
  • Comfortable with frequent travel, territory management, and flexible work schedules;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Strong Social Media Skills;
  • Proficient in Sales Force or CRM system;
  • Demonstrate initiative and autonomy;
  • Demonstrate judgment and professionalism;
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills;
  • Ability to deliver high impact presentations to agencies, consumers and corporate accounts;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines;
  • Related account development & negotiation skills used to gain customer commitment;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships throughout the organization and partners;
  • Revenue and results driven focus;
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast working environment;
  • Full G Driver’s license required.
