Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Architect to support AltaLink’s Data Centre Planning initiative. The role focuses on building a 5-year Azure cloud roadmap, defining migration strategy, and developing cost optimization models (TCO). Key Responsibilities

• Develop 5-year cloud and data centre roadmap
• Perform current-state assessment (infrastructure, applications)
• Design Azure migration strategy (on-prem to cloud)
• Conduct network readiness assessment
• Evaluate co-location vs cloud options
• Support hardware procurement and vendor selection (RFP)
• Deliver executive-level architecture outputs Mandatory Skills
• Microsoft Azure Architecture (enterprise-scale)
• Azure migration strategy
• Data centre transformation experience
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• 10+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure Preferred Skills
• Utility / regulated industry experience
• RFP and vendor selection experience
• Data centre hardware exposure
• Azure Well-Architected framework knowledge
