About the role We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer to help design, scale, and future-proof a growing platform integrating modern web applications with AI-powered capabilities. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will work closely with product, research, and leadership teams to build production-grade software while contributing to architecture decisions, CI/CD improvements, and AI feature integrations. This role combines strong backend expertise with frontend craftsmanship, making it ideal for someone who cares deeply about clean architecture, maintainable code, user experience, and engineering quality.

What You’ll Do Collaborate with leadership on technical architecture decisions and platform evolution. Design and develop scalable backend services using Ruby on Rails. Contribute to frontend development using SCSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and QA processes. Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and roadmap discussions. Maintain and improve existing systems while contributing to new feature development. Support integration of AI-powered capabilities such as LLMs, semantic analysis, and recommendation engines. Provide technical support during critical launches and escalations. Research and evaluate emerging technologies and AI development practices.

What You Bring 10+ years of professional software engineering experience. Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails development. Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, SCSS, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS. Experience with a secondary language such as Python. Strong understanding of software architecture, maintainability, and clean code principles. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and deployment tooling. Strong attention to detail, UI consistency, and user experience quality. Comfortable leading technical discussions, mentoring developers, and owning technical decisions. Fluent in French (spoken and written).

Nice to Have Experience integrating AI/LLM-powered features into production applications. Familiarity with semantic analysis and recommendation systems. Experience working in distributed or remote-first engineering teams. Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot. Strong understanding of modern UX/UI implementation best practices.
