Location Address: 100 Queens Quay East, 9th Floor, Toronto Number of Openings: 1 Pay: $74,671.00 - $130,424 Job Posting Description: Senior Test Analyst Lead This position is onsite #LI-Onsite Would you like to be an integral part of the Testing Center of Excellence? Reporting to the Manager, Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE), you will lead planning, designing, executing and reporting on software testing activities and results for assigned projects. You will craft and execute test strategies, test cases, coordinate the resolution of defects and bugs, and ensure effective use of available testing tools. You will be responsible for supporting contract and other testers that may require assistance with their testing activities, to deliver high quality and timely test plans and execution. About the Role Provide regular and timely reporting on the status of test planning, testing metrics, defects and execution activities, including providing regular status updates to the project/scrum team. Follow project gating processes that are implemented by the PMO Act as a champion for and follow TCoE, RM and PMO practices and processes Participate in all SDLC lifecycle phases (Agile/Waterfall) as the testing lead for small to large-sized projects, including but limited to test planning, test estimation processes and test execution Gather business requirements and analyze information to ensure appropriate test approach and coverage Communicate and negotiate testing timelines, scope and critical targets with project managers and the TCoE Manager from an efficiency and a risk perspective. Ensure timely notification of issues, risks, and make recommendations for resolution and/or escalation to the appropriate manager Execute manual and/or automated regression, SIT, functional and end-to-end test cases/scripts; and conduct bug triage meetings. Provide guidance and assistance, where required, to project testing resources on policies, procedures and testing activities associated with the TCoE Other duties as required About You Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience QAI CSTE, ISTQB Certification or equivalent experience 5+ years experience in a Test Lead role 10+ years of IT Quality Assurance and execution experience on projects in agile and waterfall environments 10+ years experience in testing mobile, web, and back-end services Hands-on experience with JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM and Octane Strong manual and automated testing proficiency using industry standard best practice quality assurance techniques and methodologies, preference will be given to individuals that have some Selenium hands-on experience maintaining and executing scripts In-depth experience in maintaining test automation scripts and a dedication to continuous improvement Some Retail system testing would be considered an asset Customer-focused, collaborative, with good communication skills; enjoy working with all levels of business We offer a comprehensive suite of benefits including: Health/Dental Benefits Access to an Employee & Family Assistance Program a Defined Benefit Pension Discounts on products and services via Workperks.
