Job Description NextAxiom Developer / Configurator (2 roles) The NextAxiom Developers will be responsible for hands-on configuration, development, and testing of CBP workflows and platform features. They will implement business workflows, configure forms and digital procedures, and support integration and testing activities. These roles will work closely with the Solution Architect and integration teams to deliver a fully configured CBP platform aligned to functional requirements and validated through UAT.
Responsibilities: · Configure NextAxiom platform workflows and procedures · Build digital forms, workflows, and user interactions · Execute platform setup in alignment with architecture standards · Support: · Integration validation · Data mapping verification · Interface testing · Execute system testing and support UAT · Troubleshoot defects and implement fixes · Collaborate with integration and business teams · Support documentation and knowledge transfer
Must-Have Skills Developers build and test CBP platform features, workflows, and customizations per design specifications. Hands-on NextAxiom platform experience (DI, DF, DWF or equivalent CBP tools) Workflow configuration and digital procedure setup Application configuration, testing, and defect resolution Integration support (API consumption, payload validation) Data mapping and troubleshooting across systems UAT support and defect triage participation
Experience criteria Software / application configuration: 5–8 years Workflow platforms / low-code systems: 3–5 years NextAxiom (or equivalent CBP platform): 2–3+ years (strong preference) Integration / API exposure: 2–4 years Testing / UAT support: 3+ years
Education criteria Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent Preferred: Certifications or formal training in: Workflow platforms / low-code tools API / integration technologies
Reliability security clearance criteria Must have or be eligible for: OPG Nuclear Security Clearance (or equivalent Canadian reliability clearance). Preferred: Active clearance already in place (significantly reduces onboarding risk)
