We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to work on our banking project, and I believe you could be an ideal candidate for this role. This is a consulting job and the client is one of the major banks.
Hybrid: 2 days working in office at Scarborough, Toronto.
Key Responsibilities Observability: Architect advanced monitoring, dashboards, and alerting configurations using Dynatrace. AWS & Coding: Maintain cloud workloads and write clean code to build self-healing infrastructure. Incident Response: Utilize Dynatrace diagnostics for rapid root-cause analysis (RCA) to reduce MTTR. Reliability Engineering: Define, track, and maintain core Service Level Indicators (SLIs/SLOs).
Requirements Experience: 4+ years in an SRE, DevOps, or Software Engineering role (Banking/FinTech preferred). Core Skills: Expert-level administration of Dynatrace and core AWS services (EKS, Lambda, EC2). Coding: High proficiency in development languages like JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, etc. for infrastructure automation. Containers: Strong familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
