Job Title: Desktop Support Associate

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite) Downtown Toronto, Ontario

Salary: $95,000-$120,000

The Client: A global financial institution is seeking a Systems Support/Desktop Support Associate to provide hands-on technical support within a fast-paced, regulated environment. This role supports end-user computing, infrastructure operations, and service delivery across corporate systems.

What you will achieve in this role: Provide frontline support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues Install and configure operating systems, applications, security updates, and patches Support user onboarding and offboarding, including access management using Active Directory and ServiceNow Assist with system administration tasks including Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, VMware, backups, and monitoring Participate in technology recovery and business continuity testing Maintain documentation, support tickets, and asset inventory

What you must bring to this role: 5+ years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, or Systems Administration Strong experience in Windows environments including Windows OS, Active Directory, and Group Policy Experience with SCCM/MECM, VMware/vSphere, endpoint management, and patching Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused approach Comfortable working onsite in Downtown Toronto and handling physical hardware setup Post-secondary education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
