About the role

We are Systematix and we are currently seeking multiple ERP Technical Analysts, Level 3 (BASIS) for an opportunity with a public sector client. The ideal candidate must already possess a security clearance at the Secret level (Level II) or higher.

About the Project The client is seeking an ERP Technical Analyst, Level 3 resource to provide BASIS administration assistance to the current teams with the ABAP, Web Dynpro (ABAP variant), Fiori & Workflow development as part of its operations within IFMS (Integrated Financial and Material System). The resource will work directly with the technical and functional operational teams providing expertise in the IFMS operations support area.

About the Responsibilities Work in compliance with the maintenance, implementation, documentation standards and best practices; Provide maintenance and support to the SAP ECC backend, Solution Manager, SAP Front End, SAP Content Server, SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF), and SAP PI/PO and its interfaces; Install, administer and monitor SAP software and other software integrating with SAP; Configure and customize SAP software and other software integrating with SAP; Analyze, plan, log and monitor SAP application problems and changes as required in a timely manner; Conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and enhancements; Analyze and respond to operational change requests and take appropriate actions to meet business requirements; Assist with problem solving from an ABAP, Fiori and Web Dynpro perspective; Maintain STMS configuration, perform and resolve any transports import issues within its dual landscape; Perform SAP system refreshes and its post steps procedures; Perform SAP system upgrades and support packs (ABAP and Java); Coordinate Backup and restore SAP systems as needed; Document, develop and/or maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and system configuration of all SAP and other software integrated with SAP as required; Analyze, document, and apply SAP Service Marketplace Support Portal notes in support of problem and change analysis; Monitor and investigate SAP system performance problems and perform corrective action as required including the review and implementation of SAP EarlyWatch session recommendations; Provide maintenance, upgrade, testing, support and coordination of any necessary work required to resolve SAPGui user interface problems; Provide high quality customer service support throughout the length of the contract; Provide technical and functional guidance when requested and required; Develop technical specifications and estimations for assigned work as required; Conduct working group sessions/interviews with stakeholders to develop technical specifications; Ensure the proper and smooth integration of all products as part of the IFMS technical solution; Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to the department’s IFMS team members; Provide presentations and/or status reports/updates to management staff as required;

About the Qualifications Must have greater than 10 years of professional work experience as an ERP Technical Analyst in an IT environment. Must have experience working for 2 separate contracts with a Government of Canada (GoC) client department/agency/crown corporation, provincial or municipal (for major Canadian cities) government or private sector organization, where the resource was contracted as an ERP Technical Analyst within the last eight (8) years. Must have experience as a BASIS administrator of a SAP ERP environment on ECC 6.0 or greater. A minimum of 10 years of experience managing systems on an AIX or UNIX operating system, including at least 5 years of experience creating and maintaining AIX scripting. Must have experience performing Oracle database administration on Oracle version 19 or higher. A minimum of 10 years of experience working with an ERP on the SAP ECC 6 system landscape platform performing: support, maintenance or upgrade, and technical configuration responsibilities. A minimum of 5 years of experience working with an ERP on the SAP Solution Manager platform performing at least two of the following: support, maintenance or upgrade, and/or technical configuration. A minimum of 5 years of experience working with an ERP on the SAP Front End Server (Fiori- FES) 6.0 or greater landscape platform performing at least two of the following: support, maintenance or upgrade, and/or technical configuration. Experience with a minimum of 3 projects supporting SAP Content Server 7.53 in a SAP landscape performing the following: implementing, installing, and performing technical configuration. A minimum of 4 years of experience working in a MaxDB environment performing at least two of the following: support, technical configuration, maintaining, and/or upgrading/applying patches. Experience with a minimum of 3 projects on SAP GUI technical with Secure Network Communication (SNC) experience on Windows 10 or higher performing at least two of the following: installation/configuration, maintenance or upgrade, and/or support. Experience providing technical support as a SAP BASIS technical Subject Matter Expert related to one or more of the following SAP components in 2 projects: Solution Manager, SAP Fiori Front End, SAP Content Server, Application Interface Framework (AIF), and SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration (SAP PI/PO). Must be highly proficient in Canada’s official language (English).

Pay Disclosure The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows: Junior: 0–5 years of experience - $40-75/hr Intermediate: 6–9 years of experience - $60-100/hr Senior: 10+ years of experience - $90-150/hr Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
