Why Join BoomerangFX? Explosive, proven growth, over 8,000% growth, ranked 6th in Canada and 23rd in North America on Deloitte's Fast 500, two years running Recognized industry disruptor, named Gartner's Disruptor of the Year Already a true global enterprise, headquartered in Toronto, with offices across the U.S. (Miami, Las Vegas), UK, Australia, and Barbados Backed by international private equity, actively on the path to IPO, a rare chance to build real equity upside and an IPO story on your resume, this early Recession-resilient business model, private-pay healthcare, not tied to insurance reimbursement cycles Genuine ownership, not just execution, build the systems, processes, and financial infrastructure that scale this company, not maintain someone else's A seat at the table, direct CFO reporting line, real influence over strategy, not buried in a siloed function New, uncharted territory to help shape, multiple product lines spanning SaaS and AI, a genuine opportunity to help define how finance supports emerging technology Category-defining product, an integrated SaaS platform (practice management, EMR, scheduling, marketing) serving hundreds of clinics across medspas, cosmetic surgery, dermatology, dental, and vision Entrepreneurial environment, real impact, comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, building from scratch, and moving fast

Your Role in a Nutshell As Senior Director of Finance, you'll own the full finance function, accounting, FP&A, treasury, and compliance, reporting directly to the CFO. This is more than a numbers role: we're looking for a genuine business partner who can sit at the table with Sales, Operations, and Product, not just report results after the fact. You'll help navigate complexity most finance leaders don't get exposure to, multiple product lines spanning SaaS and AI, and multi-entity operations across five countries.

What You Will Do Financial Leadership & Strategy Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning Build financial models, KPI reporting, and executive dashboards Act as a strategic business partner to cross-functional leaders, not just a reporting function Help guide investment decisions across BoomerangFX's SaaS and AI product lines, genuinely new territory where your judgment on where to invest will directly shape outcomes Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency

Department Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team Build scalable processes and internal controls to support continued growth Help make the CFO's day-to-day easier by proactively surfacing insights, not just responding to requests Partner with department leaders to support budgeting, resource planning, and financial performance

Accounting & Financial Operations Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close Ensure timely preparation of consolidated financial statements, management reporting, and executive dashboards Maintain oversight of AP, AR, payroll, treasury, banking, and intercompany accounting across multiple entities and jurisdictions Strengthen accounts payable tracking and payroll processes, including oversight of increasingly complex commission plan structures Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital requirements

Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and all applicable financial reporting requirements Manage external audits and serve as primary liaison with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls and corporate governance processes Oversee HST filings, corporate tax support, and regulatory compliance

Vendor & Systems Management Own relationships with key financial vendors, including banking, payroll, ERP/accounting systems, and insurance providers Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and identify cost optimization opportunities Lead the modernization of finance systems and reporting tools, a genuine opportunity to rebuild infrastructure for scale, not just maintain what exists Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, and financial visibility across the organization

Cross-Functional Leadership Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Customer Success, HR, and Technology to support strategic initiatives Operate as a true business partner to Sales, Operations, and Product leaders, embedded in decisions, not just reporting on them after the fact Provide financial guidance for new products, pricing strategies, investments, acquisitions, and business initiatives Support board reporting, investor requests, due diligence activities, and financing initiatives as the company moves toward IPO

What We Are Looking For We care more about what you know and how you lead than the letters after your name. That said, here's the foundation we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field CPA designation (Canada) preferred; candidates with equivalent professional experience, a strong technical grasp of financial reporting and controls, or CPA in progress are encouraged to apply Current or prior title including “Director” (e.g., Director of Finance, Senior Director of Finance) 8–10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including direct people management Deep working knowledge of financial reporting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial controls, gained through real, hands-on ownership, not just oversight Experience managing external vendors, auditors, financial institutions, and third-party service providers A genuine leader: proven ability to build, mentor, and develop teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive operational improvements under pressure An entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, building processes from scratch, and adapting quickly in a fast-moving environment Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills with strong business acumen Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence and align cross-functional leaders SaaS, software, or technology company experience is a plus, not a requirement Experience with multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction, or MNC environments is a strong asset Experience supporting fundraising, private equity, M&A, or board reporting is a strong asset
