Job Description In collaboration with the manager and business partners, the Business Intelligence Analyst designs, develops, and evolves modern analytics solutions to support organizational decision-making. The incumbent leverages Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and artificial intelligence capabilities to transform data into high-value insights and performance indicators. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with business stakeholders across departments to understand needs and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports based on key performance indicators; Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance data models within Power BI; Use Microsoft Fabric to integrate, transform, and orchestrate data (Dataflows, pipelines, Lakehouse); Integrate multiple data sources (SQL Server, Snowflake, Excel, APIs, etc.) while ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability; Leverage artificial intelligence and advanced analytics capabilities (Copilot, automation, advanced analysis) to optimize insights and streamline analytical processes; Continuously optimize the performance of Power BI models and reports and automate reporting processes where applicable; Support and guide users and analysts in adopting Power BI and analytical tools, and document developed solutions from both technical and functional perspectives; Contribute to data governance, best practices, and the evolution of business intelligence and emerging analytics technologies within the organization. Qualifications University degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field; 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a similar role; Strong understanding of data modeling principles, modern data architectures (Lakehouse, ETL/ELT), and data warehouse concepts; Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective analytical solutions, with creativity and an innovative mindset; Strong communication skills, collaborative approach, autonomy, rigor, and strong organizational abilities; Experience with Microsoft BI tools and cloud data platforms (Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake), including strong proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and SQL; Excellent proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and demonstrated ease with collaborative digital tools and AI solutions (e.g., Copilot). Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies; Oral and written fluency in French and English* A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
